Great Space for Youth Groups, School, Church and Community Events
As a non-profit organization not only are we affordable, but by letting us host your event you know you are helping us serve children in need with our programs.
We have two adjoining properties that are great for many types of youth events or hosting your next community event. Take a look at our facilities for your spring and fall youth group events.
Typical events that we can accommodate:
- Scout groups
- Community Service Groups
- Church groups
- Youth sports groups
- Community events such as BBQ, Bingo
Sorry – we are unable to do weddings or similar types of adult, non-charity events.
Because of our summer camp programs, there are no rentals from June 1 – September 1
Overnight Camp Facilities
On the west side of Witmer Road, the overnight camp comprises about two-thirds of our 234 acres. Woods, fields and lawns envelope buildings and pavilions, streams feed into Friendship Lake — it’s a little oasis of nature in the Philly suburbs! The Overnight Camp facilities are available March through May and September through November.

If you need overnight accommodations for your event, we are a unique and affordable option.
We have cabin accommodations that can hold up to around 100 people. Living quarters consist of lodges with two open dorm rooms, each sleeping eight to twelve people, one bathroom and shower area shared by all members of that lodge, and a staff sleeping area. CABINS DO NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING
Davies Hall is a modern, three season dining area and kitchen that can accommodate up to 147 people (main room) and a total of 179 people (when also using the screened porch). Meals are served family style at round tables. This building is a multi-purpose facility and is often used for evening programs or in the event of inclement weather. It is equipped with a large movie screen, sound system and DVD projector. The building is available from March through November.
Our five pavilions (two being added spring 2019) are covered structures that are used for lessons and activities. All pavilions have electrical supply.
Tennis, four- and nine-square, basketball, gaga and hockey
The EC houses equipment for science and nature activities, and an indoor animal collection; and also features an outdoor animal collection and campers’ gardens.
This 4-acre pond is used for fishing, aquatic study, bird and bat watching. Our boating (row boats and paddle boats), canoeing and kayaking are not available during spring and fall.
Day Camp Property
On the east side of Witmer Road is our equally well-equipped and charming day camp facility. The Day Camp facilities are available March through May and September through November with some November through March availability for Youth Groups.

Day Camp Activity Hall
(Available for Youth Group rentals only) The day camp activity hall is a place where up to 200 people can gather together in one place in the large common room. The building also has the following features:
- Audio visual projector and screen
- Changing area with cubbies
- Stage (portable)
Arts and Crafts Building
The former dining hall has been converted to an arts and crafts building provides additional shelter on rainy days. This space can accommodate up to 120 people.
Our two day camp pavilions offer rainy day cover or cool shade for outdoor activities
Tennis, four- and nine-square, basketball, gaga and a playground with sandbox.
